Group lessons
Children
3–12 years oldWe offer a range of group lessons for children from 3 years old, available in the morning, afternoon or as a full-day programme. With small groups organised by age and ability, each child gets the attention they need to build confidence, improve their technique and progress at their own pace.
Teenagers
12–16 years oldOur Pro-Rider sessions are designed for teenagers aged 12–17 who already have solid skiing experience. Available in the morning or as a full-day programme, they combine technical progression with new challenges, helping young skiers build confidence, push their limits and take their skiing to the next level.
Adults
from 13 years oldIn Le Grand Bornand, our adult group ski lessons are available at Discovery and Level 1. Whether you are trying skiing for the first time or building on your first turns, progress with an instructor in a group suited to your ability. For more advanced levels, explore our private lessons.

Paragliding
See the mountains from a whole new angle. Take off on skis or a snowboard and leave the pistes behind on a tandem paragliding flight with a qualified pilot. From snowy peaks to sweeping valley views, it’s a chance to experience the Alps from somewhere completely different: the sky. Choose a smooth, scenic flight or add a little more adrenaline with steeper turns and manoeuvres. Your pilot adapts the experience to you.
Ski touring or splitboarding
Leave the lifts behind and discover a different side of the mountain. Ski touring and splitboarding take you away from the pistes, climbing under your own power before enjoying the reward: the descent. Whether you’re trying touring for the first time or looking to explore further, an experienced Oxyski instructor or guide will choose an itinerary to suit your level, the conditions and the mountains around you.
Speed riding
When skiing meets flying! Speed riding combines skiing with a small wing, letting you glide, skim and briefly lift above the snow as you move down the mountain. At Le Grand-Bornand, it’s a completely different way to experience the terrain — fast, technical and seriously good fun. Whether it’s your first time under a wing or you’re looking to progress further, your instructor will adapt the session to your level and the conditions on the day.
Freestyle skiing or snowboarding
Turn the mountain into your playground. Freestyle is all about creativity, confidence and control. Whether you’re skiing or snowboarding, your Oxyski instructor will help you develop the technique to tackle jumps, boxes, rails, moguls and park features with more style and confidence. From your first tricks to more technical lines, every session is adapted to your level, your goals and the terrain available on the day.
Adaptive skiing
With over 25 years of experience in adaptive skiing, we’re committed to making the mountains accessible to everyone. In Le Grand-Bornand, our adaptive ski lessons are tailored to each individual, with expert support based on your needs, abilities and goals.

Grand Bornand is one of the French Alps’ most charming ski resorts, combining excellent skiing with the character of a traditional mountain village. Centuries-old chalets sit alongside all the facilities of a modern ski resort, with beautiful views across the Aravis mountain range. Within easy reach of Geneva and Annecy, the resort is made up of two villages. Le Grand-Bornand Village, at 1,000 metres, is the lively heart of the resort, while Le Chinaillon, at 1,300 metres, is home to historic chalets dating back to the 17th century and provides direct access to the main ski area.
