Children
3–12 years oldOur children’s ski lessons combine expert tuition with fun, engaging activities designed to build confidence and a genuine love of skiing. From their very first turns to developing their technique and discovering the snowpark, our instructors adapt each lesson to help children progress at their own pace, while making sure they enjoy every moment on the mountain.
Teenagers
12–16 years oldReady to take their skiing to the next level? Designed for teenagers with previous skiing experience, our Pro-Rider groups combine expert coaching with new challenges and plenty of fun. They’ll refine their technique, build confidence and explore more of the mountain alongside other skiers of a similar age and ability.
Adults
from 13 years oldWhether you’re making your first turns or looking to refine your technique, our adult group lessons are designed to help you progress with confidence. With expert coaching, small groups and skiers of a similar ability, you’ll develop your skills at the right pace while discovering more of Val d’Isère’s exceptional ski area.

From first turns to more advanced riding, our group snowboard lessons are designed to help you progress with confidence. Beginners will master the essentials, while more experienced riders can refine their technique and take their skills further, all with expert coaching and plenty of time to explore Val d’Isère’s varied terrain.

Ski touring or splitboarding
Leave the lifts behind and discover a different side of the mountain. Ski touring and splitboarding take you away from the pistes, climbing under your own power before enjoying the reward: the descent. Whether you’re trying touring for the first time or looking to explore further, an experienced Oxyski instructor or guide will choose an itinerary to suit your level, the conditions and the mountains around you.
Tandem Ski
Tandem skiing lets you experience the slopes from the comfort of a specially adapted sit-ski, with an Oxyski instructor in control. Sit back, take in the views and enjoy the feeling of gliding through the mountains without having to ski yourself.
Cross-country skiing
Slow it down, pick up the pace, or do a bit of both. Cross-country skiing is a brilliant way to explore the quieter side of the mountains, away from the lifts and busy pistes. Glide through snowy forests, follow dedicated Nordic trails and discover a completely different way to move through the winter landscape. Whether you’re trying it for the first time or looking to improve your technique, our qualified instructors can help you progress in classic or skating style.
Freestyle skiing or snowboarding
Turn the mountain into your playground. Freestyle is all about creativity, confidence and control. Whether you’re skiing or snowboarding, your Oxyski instructor will help you develop the technique to tackle jumps, boxes, rails, moguls and park features with more style and confidence. From your first tricks to more technical lines, every session is adapted to your level, your goals and the terrain available on the day.
Adaptive skiing
With over 25 years of experience in adaptive skiing, Oxyski offers expertly tailored sessions for a wide range of abilities. Our specialist instructors adapt each lesson to the individual, combining the right equipment with personalised guidance to ensure a safe, enjoyable and rewarding experience on the mountain.

A few hidden gem slopes
To get your day off to a good start, head to Laisinant for a quiet warm-up, or Solaise for beginners. Then enjoy the long, flowing blue runs in the Pisaillas / Fornet area to work on your technique across beautiful wide-open slopes.
Gourmet lunch break
For an authentic lunch with breathtaking mountain views, Refuge de Solaise offers a spectacular setting and panoramic views from the top of Solaise.
Set off from Fornet or Laisinant at around 10am to reach the higher slopes quickly.

Group lesson meeting point
Find us ready, waiting and raring to go right on the snow front in between Val d’Isère’s Village and Bellevarde Express chair lifts, and opposite “Les Fils à maman” restaurant and bar. Look for our trademark bright blue Oxyski flags and happy instructors… don’t worry, you won’t miss us.
