The activity.

Experience the mountains in a Tandem’Flex sit-ski from Tessier. Seated comfortably and guided by a specially trained instructor, you can relax and enjoy the sensation of skiing, the mountain scenery and the experience of being out on the slopes.

Tandem skiing makes the mountain accessible to those who may not be able to ski independently, so everyone can share the experience.

  • For those who cannot ski alone.

Disability, injury or age: the tandem is a ski outing, never a ride.

  • From ninety minutes to three hours.

A trained pilot, a companion possible on skis.

  • The chair provided, the lift pass extra.

The tandem is included; the pedestrian or skier pass comes at a preferential rate through the school.

The format and the length vary by resort: they are chosen at booking.

How it goes.

A small group, an instructor, and how a typical outing unfolds.

  1. Getting settled

At the meeting point, the pilot adjusts the chair, the straps and the helmet. You talk about what you want: gentle or thrilling.

  2. First runs

An easy run to find the rhythm, feel the turns and trust the pilot.

  3. The outing

Chairlift, blue runs, red runs if you feel like it. The mountain, seen from low down, at snow height.

Good to know.
