For whom. You should be comfortable skiing or snowboarding independently on red runs. Exact requirements may vary by resort and outing.

You might prefer to head off-piste on touring skis, explore snowy forests on snowshoes, or even discover the mountain from your own tandem ski seat with one of our instructors.

Freestyle skiing or snowboarding

The meeting point
For private lessons and guiding, your Oxyski instructor can meet you at your hotel, chalet or directly on the slopes - wherever is most convenient for you. Group lessons meet at our dedicated meeting point at the bottom of the Jardin Alpin gondola. Just look out for the Oxyski signs, and our team will be there to welcome you. What to bring
Come prepared with warm ski clothing, gloves and goggles or sunglasses. Any specialist equipment required for the activity is provided; for everything else, you can use your own equipment or hire what you need from one of our partner shops.
Weather dependent
Each outing is confirmed by message the day before. If conditions mean the activity cannot go ahead, we’ll prioritise rescheduling it during your stay. If that isn’t possible, you’ll receive a refund.

What level do I need?

The required level, when there is one, is stated above. With no mention, the activity is open to all and the pace adapts to the group.

What if the weather turns?

The outing is confirmed the day before by message. If cancelled: a new date in the week first, a refund otherwise.

Do I need my own gear?

Specific gear is provided unless stated otherwise. Skis and helmet stay yours, or the Ski Shop's, bookable in the same basket.

Do I need to take lessons with you?

No. The activity is booked on its own, or in the same basket as your lessons and rental.
