You can learn at any age.

You can start at 30, at 60, or come back after ten years off skis. Eight per group, all at the same level, the same instructor all week.

Nobody is watching.

That is what most adult beginners fear, and it goes on the first morning: the group is at your level, learning the same moves and falling just as often.

The instructor keeps the group all week, explains why a move works, which matters more at 40 than at 8, and picks terrain the group can take.

Eight adults at most.
The instructor sees every run and corrects on the spot, not at the bottom of the slope.
One group, one level.
Groups are built by level, never by age. Nobody waits, nobody chases.
Bilingual instructors.
French and English in every resort, often a third language.

Five or six days, mornings, afternoons or full days: the shape of the week is chosen when you book, depending on the resort and the season.

Goal. Bring the skis parallel, progress on blue runs.

Who for. 2–4 weeks of skiing, first parallel turns

Goal. Parallel turns mastered on blue and easy red runs.

Goal. At ease on red runs, first black runs.

Snowboard group lessons

From Bronze to Expert, in a group of the same level.

Goal. First turns, flat-ground tricks and riding the lifts on your own.

Silver

Who for. At ease on easy blue runs

Goal. Comfortable on blue and easy red runs; carving, switch riding and a first look at the snowpark.

Gold

Who for. At ease on red runs

Goal. Master carving, ride switch on all terrain, progress off-piste and in the snowpark.

Expert

from 8 years old

Who for. Very good rider on all terrain

Goal. Well done — you are now an accomplished snowboarder.

Private lesson

Ski or snowboard, on your own or up to five people.

An instructor just for you.

What is included
The lesson, the medal and the progress book on the last day. The instructor's insurance.
What to bring
A helmet, a lift pass for the ski area, gloves, goggles and sun cream. You can rent skis and boots at Rentals in your resort.
The meeting point
At the foot of the slopes in your resort, ten minutes before the lesson. The exact spot is on the resort page and in your confirmation.
If you have to cancel
Free of charge up to seven days before the first lesson, then under our terms and conditions.

I have never skied, is it too late?

No. The Découverte level is made for adults who have never put skis on. You will not be the only one in the group.

How do I choose my level?

Take the one that describes you today. The instructor checks at the first session and changes group if needed, free of charge.

What is the beginner pack?

The lesson, the equipment rental and the lift pass booked in one go, at the rate the school has negotiated.

My partner and I are not at the same level.

Each of you joins your own group, at the same times and the same meeting point. To ski together, book a private lesson.

Do I need to be fit?

No. The instructor sets the pace and the breaks for the group. Say at the first lesson what you would rather avoid.

What language is the lesson in?

French and English in every resort. Depending on the resort, also Dutch, Italian or Spanish. Tell us which one when you book.
