Enjoy learning with Oxyski.

Our group lessons are designed to build confidence, improve technique and help every child reach their potential. Small groups mean more individual attention - and more progress. Whatever their age or level, here at Oxyski, we help children discover just how much fun sliding can be.

  • Build confidence.

Your children will hit the slopes with others of a similar level! We fine-tune the groups at the start of the week to make sure everyone is in the right place. With a big focus on fun, confidence and progress, they’ll love every moment. And the icing on the cake? An end-of-week medal ceremony to celebrate their achievements!

  • Small groups, more attention.

With fewer children in each group, our instructors have more time to focus on every skier. It means more personalised guidance, more confidence and more opportunities to progress - while keeping lessons fun, relaxed and sociable.

  • The Oxyski Lunch Club!

Skiing, learning and laughing all morning can certainly work up an appetite! In a number of our resorts we offer a Lunch Club service. This is the perfect midday break for little skiers to refuel, recharge and get ready for an afternoon of adventure. Meanwhile, mum and dad can enjoy a little more time on the mountain - or a well-earned quiet lunch!

In Les Menuires: morning, afternoon or full-day options are available depending on the week.

Warm ski clothes, a helmet, skis and boots, a lift pass suited to their age and level, gloves, goggles or sunglasses, and sun cream.

How can I be sure I’ve chosen the right level?

Your child’s instructor will check their level during the first session. If another group would suit them better, we’ll move them that same day at no extra cost - no forms, no fuss.

Can two siblings of different levels be in the same group?

No. Our groups are organised by ability so every child can learn and progress at the right pace. Siblings can still start and finish their lessons at the same meeting point and at the same time.

What language are the lessons taught in?

French and English are available in every resort. Depending on the resort, lessons may also be available in Dutch, Italian or Spanish. Let us know your preferred language when you book.

What happens in bad weather?

Lessons go ahead whatever the weather. If the ski area closes and the lesson cannot take place, the session will either be rescheduled or refunded.

Can I stay and watch the lesson?

Of course - you’re welcome to stay at the start and come back at the end. During the lesson, however, children often concentrate and gain confidence more easily when their parents are out of sight.

My child is afraid of the chairlift. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Beginner levels start on gentle slopes using lifts suited to their ability. When the time comes to use a chairlift, the instructor will be there to guide and reassure them.
