From age 2 in private lessons, from age 3 in resorts where Mini Rider groups are available, and from age 8 for all other snowboard group lessons.
You don’t need to know before you book. Your instructor will help work out which stance feels most natural during the first session with a few simple exercises.
From age 8, groups may include both children and adults depending on the resort. Level is the priority, so we aim to place everyone with riders of a similar ability. Younger children stay in dedicated children’s groups.
A few falls are completely normal at the beginning while you find your balance and build confidence. Your instructor will guide you through it gradually and show you the right techniques to learn safely.
