Teenagers looking to progress, build confidence or take their skiing or snowboarding further are in the right place. Our teen lessons bring together young riders of a similar age and level, with options ranging from technique-focused ski and snowboard sessions to our Pro-Rider groups for more experienced skiers. Expect progression, plenty of time on the mountain and a good dose of fun along the way.

See availabilityPro-Rider is designed for advanced teenage skiers who want more from their week on the mountain. With morning or full-day options depending on the resort, they’ll build confidence, improve their technique and discover new ways to ski.
The focus is on progression, but never at the expense of fun. Our instructors keep sessions engaging and varied, helping teenagers challenge themselves, try new things and develop their skiing in a relaxed, supportive environment.
From steeper pistes and moguls to freestyle features and off-piste terrain, Pro-Rider gives teenagers the chance to explore different styles of skiing and develop a broader set of skills across the mountain.
Our teen snowboard lessons are designed to help every rider progress at their own pace. Beginners build strong foundations, while more experienced snowboarders work on technique, control and style alongside others of a similar age and level.
In Tignes: Choose from five- or six-day group lessons, with morning, afternoon or full-day options depending on the resort and the week.
Our ski school meeting point is located on the snowfront in Tignes Le Lac, directly in front of the terrace at Hôtel Le Levanna. Look out for our colourful Oxyski flags and our instructors in their blue and orange uniforms – you won’t miss us!
Use our Level Finder to choose the level that best matches your teenager. Don’t worry if you’re not completely sure - at the first session, the instructor will check their level and move them to another group if needed. Still unsure? Pro-Rider is available for 12 to 16 year olds. From age 13, teenagers can also join our adult-level groups, from Discovery through to Steep & Deep.

Who for. Strong skier at ease on all runs and snow
Goal. Become an accomplished skier: piste, boardercross, freestyle and freeride, all under control.
How it runs. Morning 9:00-12:00, Full day 9:00-12:00 and 14:00-17:00 in mid and peak season, 5 or 6 days, up to 6 people. Starts on Sunday or Monday.
From Bronze through to Expert, our snowboard group lessons are designed to help every rider progress, build confidence and take their skills to the next level.

Goal. First turns, flat-ground tricks and riding the lifts on your own.
How it runs. 9:00-12:00, 5 or 6 days, up to 6 people. Starts on Sunday or Monday.

Goal. Comfortable on blue and easy red runs; carving, switch riding and a first look at the snowpark.

For even more personalised progression, choose a private ski or snowboard lesson tailored to your teenager’s level, goals and pace. Available across all disciplines and in all our resorts in the French Alps.
Choose from one-hour, two-hour or half-day sessions, either one-to-one or shared with a brother, sister or friend. Private lessons are ideal for building confidence, refining technique, working through a particular challenge or simply making the most of their time on the slopes.

Warm ski clothing, a helmet, skis and boots, a lift pass suited to their age and level, gloves, goggles or sunglasses, and sun cream.
We do our best to place teenagers with others of a similar age, but level always comes first. Our priority is to make sure everyone is in the group that best matches their ability.
Yes. From age 13, teenagers can join our adult groups, from Discovery through to Steep & Deep. This can be a great option for confident young skiers who are already comfortable on the slopes.
Choose the level that best matches their ability today, rather than the level they’re aiming for. At the first session, the instructor will check their level and move them to another group if needed.
Not in our group lessons. We place teenagers with others of a similar ability so everyone can progress at the right pace. If they’d like to ski together, a private lesson is the best option.
Yes. Our more advanced levels may include freestyle, snowpark or a little bit of off-piste when snow conditions and the terrain allow. The instructor will decide what is suitable depending on the day and the level of the group.
French and English are available in every resort. Depending on the resort, lessons may also be available in Dutch, Italian or Spanish.
The ski resort is already filled in, only the week and the level are left to pick.
