Teenagers looking to progress, build confidence or take their skiing or snowboarding further are in the right place. Our teen lessons bring together young riders of a similar age and level, with options ranging from technique-focused ski and snowboard sessions to our Pro-Rider groups for more experienced skiers. Expect progression, plenty of time on the mountain and a good dose of fun along the way.

Pro-Rider is designed for advanced teenage skiers who want more from their week on the mountain. With morning or full-day options depending on the resort, they’ll build confidence, improve their technique and discover new ways to ski.
Progress without the pressure.
The focus is on progression, but never at the expense of fun. Our instructors keep sessions engaging and varied, helping teenagers challenge themselves, try new things and develop their skiing in a relaxed, supportive environment.

From steeper pistes and moguls to freestyle features and off-piste terrain, Pro-Rider gives teenagers the chance to explore different styles of skiing and develop a broader set of skills across the mountain.
Snowboarding teens.
Our teen snowboard lessons are designed to help every rider progress at their own pace. Beginners build strong foundations, while more experienced snowboarders work on technique, control and style alongside others of a similar age and level.
In Belle Plagne: Choose from five- or six-day group lessons, with morning, afternoon or full-day options depending on the resort and the week.

Look out for our friendly and unmistakeable instructors, who’ll be waiting under the bright blue Oxygène flags and banners. And because all group sessions start at 10:00, you can catch first lifts and reach us by ski.

How to choose the right level.
Use our Level Finder to choose the level that best matches your teenager. Don’t worry if you’re not completely sure - at the first session, the instructor will check their level and move them to another group if needed. Still unsure? For even more personalised progression, choose a private ski or snowboard lesson tailored to your teenager’s level, goals and pace. Available across all disciplines and in all our resorts in the French Alps.
A private instructor just for them.
Choose from one-hour, two-hour or half-day sessions, either one-to-one or shared with a brother, sister or friend. Private lessons are ideal for building confidence, refining technique, working through a particular challenge or simply making the most of their time on the slopes.

Freestyle skiing or snowboardingTurn the mountain into your playground. Freestyle is all about creativity, confidence and control. Tandem SkiTandem skiing lets you experience the slopes from the comfort of a specially adapted sit-ski, with an Oxyski instructor in control. Sit back, take in the views and enjoy the feeling of gliding through the mountains without having to ski yourself.

What is included
The lesson, a medal and an Oxypass progression booklet to celebrate your teenagers achievements on the final day.
What to bring
Warm ski clothing, a helmet, skis and boots, a lift pass suited to their age and level, gloves, goggles or sunglasses, and sun cream.
Will my teenager be with other teenagers?
We do our best to place teenagers with others of a similar age, but level always comes first. Our priority is to make sure everyone is in the group that best matches their ability.
Can they join an adult lesson?
Yes. From age 13, teenagers can join our adult groups, from Discovery through to Steep & Deep. This can be a great option for confident young skiers who are already comfortable on the slopes.
How do we choose the right level?
Choose the level that best matches their ability today, rather than the level they’re aiming for. At the first session, the instructor will check their level and move them to another group if needed.
Can two friends of different levels be together?
Not in our group lessons. We place teenagers with others of a similar ability so everyone can progress at the right pace. If they’d like to ski together, a private lesson is the best option.
Is the snowpark on the programme?
Yes. Our more advanced levels may include freestyle, snowpark or a little bit of off-piste when snow conditions and the terrain allow. The instructor will decide what is suitable depending on the day and the level of the group.
What language is the lesson in?
French and English are available in every resort. Depending on the resort, lessons may also be available in Dutch, Italian or Spanish.
