Whether you want to build confidence, refine your technique or tackle something completely new, you’ll benefit from personalised guidance and more time focused on your skiing or snowboarding.

Choose the format that works for you, from shorter sessions to mornings, afternoons and full days, depending on the resort. Simply choose your discipline, session length and number of participants when you book. Your instructor will then tailor the lesson to your level, goals and pace.

Whether you want to learn or improve your technique in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, snowboarding or telemark, your private lesson can be shaped around what you want to achieve. Tell your instructor what you’d like to work on and they’ll adapt the session to help you make the most of your time on the mountain.

Where to meet in Megève.
Our Oxyski meeting point is located at the foot of the Mont d’Arbois slopes, between the Mont d’Arbois gondola and the PT Vorasset drag lift, next to our Magic Fun Factory children’s area. Getting there is easy: the Mont d’Arbois car park opens directly onto the area, the bus stop is around 50 metres away, and the Rocharbois gondola from Caboche brings you to within 30 metres of the meeting point. Look out for the Oxyski flags, signs and our instructors in blue jackets.

The meeting point
Our ski school meeting point is here: Our Oxyski meeting point is located at the foot of the Mont d’Arbois slopes, between the Mont d’Arbois gondola and the PT Vorasset drag lift, next to our Magic Fun Factory children’s area. What is included
Your lesson with an Oxyski instructor, with a programme tailored to your goals, preferences and needs from start to finish.
What to bring
Bring your own equipment and lift pass, suitable for the terrain planned for your lesson. Skis, snowboards and helmets can be hired from one of our equipment rental partners in your resort.
How many people can join a private lesson?
Up to five people. Your instructor will choose terrain and adapt the lesson to suit everyone in the group.
From what age?
For anymore 2 years or older. In fact, private lessons are an ideal option for a child’s very first experience on snow.
How long should I book?
An hour is ideal for a young child or for working on one specific skill. A half-day gives you more time to make real progress, while a full day is perfect for exploring further afield.
Is there a minimum level?
No. Private lessons are suitable for every level, including complete beginners. Your instructor will adapt the session to your ability on the day.
Can we go off-piste in a private lesson?
Yes. Off-piste sessions are available from Level 4 or Ski d’Or, with the necessary safety equipment provided by the school.
What language is the lesson taught in?
French and English are available in every resort. Depending on the resort, lessons may also be available in Dutch, Italian or Spanish. Simply tell us your preferred language when you book.
