Goal. Snowboard basics: one-foot, falling leaf and side-slipping.
One board, five levels.
From the first one foot to switch in the snowpark. A group at your level and the same instructor all week, from age 3.
BookOne board, and everything changes.
Snowboarding is quick to learn: in a week you turn, in two you carve. The instructor keeps the same group from the first day to the last, on runs chosen for the board, and films the descents to show what has changed.
You start with the one foot and the falling leaf, you finish with switch riding and the first snowpark features. Everyone at their own pace, all in the same level group.
Eight riders at most.
The instructor sees every run and corrects your stance right there, not at the bottom of the slope.
From age three.
Mini Rider for the youngest, Bronze from 8. From 8 on, groups mix ages: level comes first.
Bilingual instructors.
French and English in every resort, often a third language.
Five or six days, mornings or afternoons: the shape of the week is chosen when you book, depending on the resort and the season.
Choosing your level.
Pick the level that describes you today. The instructor checks at the first session and moves you to another group if needed, free of charge. Not sure? Take the level test.
Snowboard group lessons
Bronze
from 8 years old
Who for. Never snowboarded, or a few hours
Goal. First turns, flat-ground tricks and riding the lifts on your own.
Silver
from 8 years old
Who for. At ease on easy blue runs
Goal. Comfortable on blue and easy red runs; carving, switch riding and a first look at the snowpark.
Gold
from 8 years old
Who for. At ease on red runs
Goal. Master carving, ride switch on all terrain, progress off-piste and in the snowpark.
Expert
from 8 years old
Who for. Very good rider on all terrain
Goal. Well done — you are now an accomplished snowboarder.
Private snowboard lesson.
From age 2, on your own or with others.
An hour or half a day with an instructor to yourself. For a gentle first time, a step to get past, or a stay too short for the week.

What is included
The lesson, the medal and the progress book on the last day. The instructor's insurance.
What to bring
A board and boots in your size, a helmet, wrist guards for the first levels, a suitable lift pass. You can rent all of it at Rentals in your resort.
The meeting point
At the foot of the slopes in your resort, ten minutes before the lesson, board ready. The exact spot is on the resort page and in your confirmation.

Do you need to ski before you snowboard?
No. Snowboarding is learned from scratch, and plenty of beginners have never put skis on.
What age can you start?
From 3 in Mini Rider, in the resorts that offer it. From 8 everywhere, in Bronze.
Regular or goofy, how do I know?
The instructor works it out at the first session with two or three simple tests. No need to know when you book.
Are children and adults in the same group?
From age 8, depending on the resort, groups mix ages: level is what counts. Under 8, children are among themselves.
Do you fall a lot?
For the first two days, yes, on your backside and your knees. A helmet and wrist guards make the difference, and the instructor teaches how to fall first.
Can I rent the board from you?
Yes, at Rentals in your resort, with boots and helmet. The rental is booked together with the lesson.
