Snowshoeing.
Step away from the pistes and discover a quieter side of the mountains on a guided snowshoe adventure. Follow snowy trails, explore peaceful forests and take in incredible Alpine views with one of our local instructors or guides.
Choose your resortThe activity.
Snowshoeing is one of the simplest ways to explore the mountains in winter.
Your instructor or guide will choose a route suited to the group, the snow conditions and the weather, taking you away from the busy ski slopes and into some of the resort’s most beautiful winter landscapes.
Along the way, you may wander through forests, cross open snowy terrain and discover viewpoints you would never normally reach on skis. Your guide will also share their local knowledge of the mountains, wildlife and surrounding area.
Relaxed or energetic, gentle or more adventurous: every outing is adapted to the people taking part.
Routes adapted to all ages and fitness levels.
Snowshoeing requires no skiing experience or special technique, making it ideal for families, groups of friends, non-skiers and anyone looking to spend time in the mountains at a slower pace.
Fresh air, snowy trails and plenty of scenery.
Your guide will show you how to use the snowshoes before setting off and will adapt the pace and route throughout the outing. Depending on your resort and chosen experience, your walk may take you through forests, along mountain paths or towards panoramic viewpoints.
If you can walk, you can snowshoe.
There is no complicated technique to learn and no previous mountain experience is required. Your guide takes care of the route, pace and conditions, leaving you free to simply enjoy being outside.
The format and the length vary by resort: they are chosen at booking.
