Two wheels, one track and a completely electric ride.
Moonbikes combine the feel of a motorbike with the grip of a snow track, creating a machine that is light, responsive and surprisingly easy to get to grips with.
Before setting off, your guide shows you how to accelerate, brake, turn and control the bike. Once everyone is comfortable, it’s time to head onto the snow and put it into practice.
The experience takes place after the ski lifts have closed, giving you the mountain in a completely different atmosphere.
100% electric.
No fuel engine and far less noise than a traditional snowmobile. Moonbikes offer a quieter way to enjoy a motorised experience on the snow.
One-hour sessions.
Three one-hour time slots are available each evening, with departure times changing slightly throughout the season.
From 16 years old.
No previous Moonbike or snowmobile experience is required. Your guide will explain everything you need to know before you set off.

Getting started
Meet at the agreed departure point in La Plagne or Belle Plagne. Your guide introduces the Moonbike and explains how the session will work.
Get to know the bike
Learn the controls, practise starting, stopping and turning, and take a few minutes to get comfortable before heading further onto the snow.
Time to ride
Once everyone is ready, follow your guide onto the dedicated track and enjoy the feeling of riding across the snow after the lifts have closed.
Find your flow
As your confidence grows, you’ll become smoother through the turns and more comfortable controlling the bike, with your guide there throughout the session.

What is included
Your Moonbike, an introduction to the controls and guidance from an Oxyski instructor or guide throughout the one-hour session..
What level do I need?
The required level, when there is one, is stated above. With no mention, the activity is open to all and the pace adapts to the group.
What if the weather turns?
The outing is confirmed the day before by message. If cancelled: a new date in the week first, a refund otherwise.
Do I need my own gear?
Specific gear is provided unless stated otherwise. Skis and helmet stay yours, or the Ski Shop's, bookable in the same basket.
Do I need to take lessons with you?
No. The activity is booked on its own, or in the same basket as your lessons and rental.
